Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform mechanical maintenance and make-ready tasks across our properties in Phoenix. You will diagnose issues, repair components, and ensure safety standards are met in all building areas.

Responsibilities include vacancy preparation, inventory management, and routine inspections while adhering to company policies and local regulations. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigeration certification are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• State and local certifications needed per jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per safety standards and codes.
• Makes ready of vacant units: inspect, punch list, schedule vendors, and finalize tasks.
• Documents work performed and tracks materials and inventory.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans and paints as needed.
• Assists cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Education

EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 & II or Universal)

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
