Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders from resident requests, performing make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory control, documentation, and assisting with grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local certifications required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, vendors, and scheduling.
• Access materials and supplies from maintenance, track inventory, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests to enable tracking and records.
• Assist in grounds, common areas and amenities upkeep, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal Refrigerant Certification
