Job summary

Irvine Company Retail Properties (a division of Irvine Company) is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance technicians and third-party vendors, ensuring center-wide standards and safety.

Responsibilities include scheduling, directing work orders, managing inventory, performing common-area maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, water features, electrical), and coordinating cross-functional projects to maintain exceptional property presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance or facilities management experience.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling and direct the daily operations of maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify, plan, and complete center-wide projects.
• Maintain optimal inventory and supply levels for the department.
• Perform common-area maintenance, including inspecting HVAC, plumbing, water features, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate marketing event setups.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and air quality regulations, including inspections, testing, and documentation for safety systems.
• Lead monthly departmental safety meetings.
• Oversee third-party vendor operations on-site.
• Ensure presentation and operational standards are met.
• Create, assign, and manage work order requests.
