Irvine Company Apartment Communities is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to perform general maintenance across our California communities. You will handle plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs in line with company standards and in coordination with management.

The role emphasizes proactive customer interactions, timely service requests, and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and upkeep of common areas.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies and schedule variations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Promote positive, proactive customer interactions to ensure high-quality experiences.
• Handle service requests, unit turns, and preventative maintenance across communities.
• Maintain common areas and grounds per company standards; identify and resolve hazards.
• Practice safe work methods and complete safety training; investigate and mitigate risks.
• Manage inventory of parts and appliances; maintain orderliness of facilities.
• Carry out apartment turnover and related maintenance tasks; may work alone or in teams.
