Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Irvine, CA seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead building, equipment and grounds upkeep across the hotel. You’ll supervise 1-2 technicians, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure inventory control and safety compliance to protect assets and guest satisfaction.

You’ll leverage expertise in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, and life-safety systems, while managing vendor relationships, budgeting input, and daily operations as a key on-site leader.

Qualifications

• Advanced vocational training plus two years of building maintenance experience.
• Certified license required by law.
• English fluency; reading/writing.
• Driver’s license required.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and coordinate with GM.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities.
• Manage inventory and purchasing.
• Ensure life safety systems tested and compliant.
• Promote guest satisfaction and safety.
