Job summary
Valmont Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise and perform maintenance on electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. The role includes mentoring a skilled team, enforcing safety rules, and driving continuous improvements on shift from Friday to Sunday, 5 PM to 5 AM.
The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in industrial maintenance, an associate degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Six to nine years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
- Associates degree in industrial maintenance, engineering and/or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics or electrical applications.
- Basic working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook or similar email software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Forklift training/certification may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform and mentor maintenance tasks on electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
- Direct maintenance team activities to meet site goals and schedules.
- Ensure PPE usage and safety compliance on shift.
- Coordinate with supervisor to schedule maintenance and order parts.
- Lead Lean initiatives and cost-reduction efforts.
