Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Lead to direct maintenance and facility operations at our Tulsa site, reporting to the Facilities Manager. You will mentor technicians, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety, quality and uptime across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.

The role requires strong electromechanical knowledge, experience in a fast-paced plant, and willingness to work weekends/on-call as needed. Growth and Lean initiatives are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in industrial maintenance, engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics and electrical applications.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities under the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and safety compliance for all maintenance staff.
• Coordinate daily maintenance scheduling to meet production needs and reduce downtime.
• Mentor and develop the maintenance team, driving Lean techniques and cost reduction.
• Oversee contractor and parts coordination, ensure quality and safety standards.
