Job summary

Valmont Industries seeks a Maintenance Lead to guide installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment. You will supervise a maintenance crew, enforce safety PPE, and coordinate with the Production Supervisor to keep downtime minimal.

Ideal candidates have 6–9 years in industrial maintenance, an associate degree, and forklift certification. The role requires overtime, on-call rotation, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) to Nine (9) years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Associates degree in industrial maintenance, engineering and/or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics or electrical applications.
• Ability to work in a team with a diverse group of people.
• Meet production, safety, and quality standards in a high-paced environment.
• Valmont trained and certified in forklift operation.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety regulations.
• Overtime including weekends and evenings; on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and mentor maintenance activities on electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Lead maintenance team to meet department and site goals.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling and spare parts management.
• Drive Lean techniques and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Valmont policies, safety, and quality standards.
