Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee and mentor maintenance staff at our Claremore/Tulsa site.

You will direct installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment under supervision, ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts. The role emphasizes implementing Lean techniques, prioritizing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with production to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Six to nine years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook or similar email software.
• Associates degree in industrial maintenance, engineering and/or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain maintenance staff and lead activities to meet department goals.
• Ensure all maintenance personnel wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Report injuries to Supervisor and EHS Manager as soon as possible.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to meet production needs.
• Drive Lean techniques and cost-reduction initiatives within the site.
