Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team in overseeing the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including forklifts, pumps, engines, and conveyors. You will apply electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical expertise to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

You will develop procedures, manage staff, and coordinate budgets and safety compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar engineering/maintenance role.
• Experience with machinery, forklifts, pumps, welding, electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, conveyors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Engineering/Industrial Technology degree preferred.
• Maintenance management certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures; monitor systems and determine repairs or replacement needs.
• Oversee maintenance staff and contractors for equipment installation and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine root cause.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Evaluate contracts and cost estimates for maintenance work.
• Collaborate with managers to implement policies and objectives.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory.
• Manage fixed assets records and depreciation controls.
• Assist in budget prep and monitor expenditures.
• Analyze maintenance operations and implement improvements.
• Train and mentor maintenance employees to raise performance.
