Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional in Austin, TX to oversee the property’s maintenance and perform repairs in resident units. This role also supports make-ready tasks and coordinates with the Community Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of apartment maintenance experience, English communication skills, EPA certification, and own basic hand tools. A driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in make-ready apartments prior to occupancy.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting repairs as needed.
• Maintain and repair systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fixtures.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors and the manager.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and keep records of work orders and inventory.
• Be available for on-call, standby, and after-hours coverage as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations and provide accurate documentation.
