Revised personnel is seeking a Maintenance Lead for an apartment community in Austin, TX. You will supervise a small maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure all systems are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.

Must be HVAC certified and able to manage on-call emergency maintenance, coordinate unit turns, and maintain detailed service records. This role emphasizes reliable leadership and resident-focused communication to keep residents satisfied.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance team in multi-unit housing is preferred.
• HVAC certification required or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Ability to diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building systems.
• Lead, train, and coordinate a maintenance technician team to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Manage unit turns — preparing vacant units for move-in, including painting, cleaning coordination, and punch list completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding service requests and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment service history.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Ensure the property is always safe, clean, and well-maintained.
