Republic Services in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to manage and optimize MRO inventory and purchasing for the maintenance team. You will own the purchasing process, maintain CMMS records, and ensure materials are available to support maintenance activities.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with CMMS/ERP systems, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain data integrity and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control, purchasing processes, maintenance administration, and recordkeeping practices.
• Proficiency with CMMS systems and inventory management software.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and control of over $1M in MRO inventory.
• Own the maintenance purchasing process: create, process, track POs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for timely procurement.
• Receive, verify, and issue inventories while keeping records in CMMS.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to align physical and system records.
• Support inventory management processes and performance monitoring.
• Review documentation for accuracy and proper processing; generate reports.
