Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Carson, CA to manage inventory and administrative processes across branches.

You will support maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability by overseeing parts, batteries, tires and warranty items, while coordinating with service and warranty teams. Key responsibilities include inventory optimization, process analytics, parts ordering, and ensuring accurate vendor payments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in customer service and operations
• 2 years in service and parts department preferred
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function
• Willingness to travel, work at the location, background check and drug screen are required

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to support timely service and minimize losses
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts per sourcing procedures with Centralized Parts Ordering
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; perform frequent cycle counts; ensure parts availability
• Manage new and used battery inventory and tires stock
• Ensure warranty items are shipped on time and follow up with warranty department
• Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available
• Ensure vendor support and payments are processed accurately
• Perform process analyses in Inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, RO reviews and more
• Use ServiceNet or AS400 to understand operations and drive improvements
• Support the branch financial manager to enhance performance and profitability
• Handle projects assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager
