Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Murfreesboro, TN. The role performs semi-skilled tasks to maintain and repair the building, grounds, and equipment as directed by the Maintenance Director.

Responsibilities include operating tools, ordering materials, making repairs, and assisting with resident safety and facility upkeep. Candidates should have 2 years of maintenance experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of building maintenance materials and practices.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in maintenance/building trades.
• Order materials and handle phone communications as directed.
• Repair building, equipment and appliances as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Move and rearrange furniture within the community.
• Maintain logs and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
