A state-operated facility in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Construction Technician IV. The Maintenance/Construction Technician IV is a working supervisor responsible for supervising and coordinating the carpentry staff and construction projects at the facility.
This position is designated MANDATORY and requires reporting or staying over during adverse weather events or emergencies.
BMNTC is one of three state-operated facilities serving adults with chronic, complex medical conditions and neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders, often with severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disabilities. The residents require 24-hour supervision, nursing care, and assistance with daily activities.
We focus on maintaining quality of life and dignity for adults with neurocognitive or neurodevelopmental disorders and complex medical and behavioral needs, providing individualized, compassionate care by highly skilled staff.

High school diploma or GED plus two years of experience in complex mechanical or building trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. May require EPA certification as a Type I, II, III, or Universal technician.
