Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) Maintenance/Construction Technician IV

The Maintenance/Construction Technician IV is a working supervisor responsible for supervising and coordinating the carpentry staff and construction projects at the facility.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide maintenance and construction supervision for the BMNTC campus (189,740 sq ft, including main and outlying buildings)
  • Supervise the carpentry department, including staff, equipment, and shops
  • Coordinate all major and minor building construction and renovation projects under the Facility Maintenance Director
  • Coordinate with and assist outside contractors and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with all building, life safety, and fire codes
  • Supervise maintenance of windows and doors
  • Oversee physical security, including security devices and door locks
  • Supervise maintenance of groundskeeping equipment
  • Prepare cost estimates, sketches, and drawings for structures

This position is designated MANDATORY and requires reporting or staying over during adverse weather or emergencies.
