This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laboratory and facility equipment, as well as general maintenance and machinery repairs across multiple buildings and sites.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, masonry, painting, carpentry, heating, and HVAC systems.
• Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies needed for various systems.
• Identifying and rectifying faults to restore equipment to operational condition.
• Providing oversight for housekeeping, grounds, and building maintenance tasks.
• Participating in on-call rotations, including some weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in related trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and maintaining inventory.
• Ability to read and interpret building codes and blueprints.

Additional Requirements:

• Possibility of obtaining EPA certification as a Type I, II, III, or Universal technician.
