Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance/Construction Technician IV.

The Maintenance/Construction Technician IV is a working supervisor responsible for supervising carpentry staff and coordinating construction projects at the facility.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing maintenance/construction supervision across the BMNTC campus.
2. Supervising the carpentry department, staff, equipment, and shops.
3. Coordinating building construction and renovation projects under the Facility Maintenance Director.
4. Collaborating with outside contractors and engineers.
5. Ensuring compliance with building, life safety, and fire codes.
6. Supervising maintenance of windows, doors, and physical security devices.
7. Overseeing groundskeeping equipment maintenance.
8. Preparing sketches and drawings for structural maintenance.

This position is mandatory and requires reporting or staying over during adverse weather or emergencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates must demonstrate experience coordinating projects with outside contractors.

Management Preferences include experience working with healthcare construction, security devices, and building/safety codes.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED plus two years of experience in complex mechanical or building trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional qualifications include EPA certification as a Type I, II, III, or Universal technician if applicable.
