Job summary

ELEVI is seeking a Senior Mainframe Storage Administrator to manage daily z/OS storage operations, optimize SMS/DASD utilization, and ensure reliable data management across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Performs daily mainframe storage operations using z/OS tools to optimize SMS/DASD utilization.
• Produces required compliance/capacity reporting (SCRT/SMF), verifies reclaim/housekeeping automation, and completes operational work such as disk initialization, tape consolidations, and maintenance of core storage software (DLM, Solutions Enabler, GDDR, TapeCopy, Unisphere).
• Executes DR activation/teardown activities, coordinates Dell hardware patching/upgrades, and monitors PowerMax/DLM/Data Domain health and certificates at both Eagan and San Mateo.

Responsibilities

• Manage disk initialization, tape consolidations, and core storage software maintenance.
• Coordinate patching/upgrades and monitor PowerMax/DLM/Data Domain health.
• Audit volumes/datasets across both plexes and submit incidents as needed.
