• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Virtual Tape Systems (VTS/VTL) and physical tape environments.
• Perform storage allocation, provisioning, migration, and reclamation activities.
• Administer DFSMS, SMS policies, Client routines, and storage groups.
• Monitor storage utilization and perform capacity planning to optimize performance.
• Support backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
• Perform storage performance analysis and tuning for optimal system performance.
• Coordinate storage-related software and hardware upgrades.

• Strong understanding of DFSMS, SMS, Client routines, and Storage Groups.
