NewGen Technologies in Minnesota seeks a seasoned Mainframe Storage Administrator to perform daily z/OS storage operations, optimize SMS/DASD usage, verify HSM/DLM health, and produce SCRT/SMF reports. The role includes DR activation/teardown, hardware maintenance with EMC/Dell, and cross-site coordination for reliability.

The position requires IBM Mainframe storage administration experience within the past 5 years, along with strong DT storage expertise and the ability to manage complex storage

Formación

• US Citizenship required.
• Active USPS Clearance required.
• IBM Mainframe storage administration experience within past 5 years.
• IBM Mainframe systems programming/administration experience within past 5 years.
• Strong experience with DT storage.
• DLM experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily MF storage operations using z/OS tools and commands.
• Check SMS pools utilization daily and adjust to optimize SMS/DASD resources.
• Submit CRs/incidents to maintain storage reliability and stability.
• Ensure DR activation/teardown readiness and coordinate hardware patching/upgrades.
• Monitor EMC/Dell storage health across Eagan and San Mateo sites.
• Create and distribute monthly SCRT reports.
