Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in the United States is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead for Mainframe Infrastructure and MFaaS to drive growth across US offices.

You will identify opportunities, lead technical discussions, and partner with sales and account teams while building proposals and SOWs. Engagement with IBM, BMC, Broadcom, and other ecosystem partners will be central to expanding the MFaaS footprint.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Mainframe infrastructure experience.
• Deep knowledge of IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS.
• Understanding of mainframe licensing and OEM ecosystems (IBM, BMC, Broadcom).
• Experience in solutioning, technical sales, and pre-sales.
• Ability to engage with CIOs and senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop Mainframe infrastructure service opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with cross-functional teams.
• Lead technical discussions and act as trusted advisor in the sales lifecycle.
• Develop proposals, SOWs, and service offerings.
• Manage relationships with IBM, BMC, Broadcom, and other partners.
• Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and large-scale MF transformation engagements.
• Provide thought leadership on Mainframe modernization and enterprise architecture.
