Job summary

The Millennium Group (TMG) is seeking a dedicated Mailroom Technician to support daily mail operations in Columbus, OH. You will receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages, log items, and ensure accurate custody and timely delivery to departments.

You'll maintain inventory, assist with outbound mail, coordinate with carriers, and provide dependable customer service while adhering to safety guidelines. Prior mailroom or shipping experience and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years mailroom/shipping experience.
• Experience with package handling and routing preferred.
• Medical/pharma environment experience a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office; basic tracking/inventory tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily mail operations: receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
• Log all accountable packages into the tracking system with chain‑of‑custody documentation.
• Deliver mail to designated departments accurately and on time.
• Assist outbound mail prep, postage application, and carrier coordination.
• Support shipping/receiving and inventory counts as directed by the Site Supervisor.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and maintain cleanliness in mailroom and dock areas.
