AppleOne Employment Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Mail Service Associate to support mailroom operations and office services on a temp-to-hire basis. The role emphasizes organization, reliability, and strong customer service while contributing to smooth daily operations.

The position involves mail sorting and processing, records maintenance, and providing backup coverage for multiple functions.

Qualifications

1–2 years of administrative, mailroom, office services, or clerical experience preferred.
Good working knowledge of postal regulations.
Basic computer skills and ability to use standard office technology.

Responsabilités

Sort, distribute, process, and handle incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with postal regulations and internal procedures.
Provide office services support, including copy requests, work tickets, and coverage during breaks or staffing needs.
Maintain records, files, and documentation to support accurate and organized mailroom and office operations.
Serve as backup support for multiple staff functions and adapt to changing daily priorities.
Monitor office equipment, coordinate basic maintenance needs, and help ensure equipment remains in good working order.
Communicate with client contacts, resolve service issues, and keep management informed of operational concerns or improvement opportunities.
