Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a skilled machine operator to operate machinery per safety policies and procedures, producing high-quality products. You will read specs, adjust settings, monitor operations, and perform routine maintenance to keep production on track.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. CNC or dryer operation experience is a plus; a flexible schedule is often needed.

Qualifications

• Must have machine operator experience and mechanical skills.
• High school diploma/equivalent; or related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to meet quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
• Operate front end loader.
