Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Machine Operator to run production machinery in our dry mix plant. You will read specifications, set up machines, and monitor dryer operations to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends as needed. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of CRH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instruction manuals.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform basic math using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by templates.
• Observe dryer operation and adjust parameters for set points.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
• Review product for inconsistencies and ensure quality requirements.
