Job summary

Gambit Technologies in Manhattan, NYC is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with strong Mac and Windows experience to maintain a mixed fleet and support VIPs on site. You will own tickets end to end, manage devices in Jamf and Intune, and collaborate with AD, GPO, and security teams.

The role requires hands-on admin of Jamf/Intune, AD groups, and MFA/O365, plus delivering smooth IT support for executives and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in desktop or end-user support.
• Hands-on Jamf and Intune admin experience.
• Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with SCCM, WSUS or similar desktop management tools.
• Working knowledge of Azure, O365 and G-Suite.
• Calm, clear communication with non-technical people, especially senior execs.

Responsibilities

• Own tickets end to end, from first call to fix.
• Support VIPs and the executive team, onsite and occasionally off-site.
• Manage Macs in Jamf and Windows devices in Intune.
• Handle AD security groups, Group Policy and software deployments.
• Run day-to-day admin on MFA, O365, collaboration tools, video conferencing and Cisco VoIP phones.
• Image, deploy and retire laptops and desktops through the hardware lifecycle.
• Work with the security team on patching and endpoint standards.
• Lead small projects that move the team forward.
