Job summary
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Deskside Support Tech with strong Mac support experience for a full-time role. The technician will provide macOS support, deploy and manage iOS/Mac devices via MDM (JAMF, Intune), and assist with onboarding and IT provisioning.
The role includes on-site end-user support, printer and conference room device assistance, and collaboration with IT teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Mac support experience and Active Directory experience.
- 3+ years of experience with M365 and remote desktop tools.
- Hands-on Mac support and end-user assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide macOS support, with ~85% of devices being Macs.
- Deploy and manage mobile devices using MDM tools (JAMF, Intune).
- Offer technical support via phone, email, remote desktop, and in‑person visits.
- Assist with user onboarding including account setup and software install.
- Troubleshoot mobile device configuration, connectivity, and security.
- Provide printer and conference room device support.
- Diagnose hardware/software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and drivers.
- Document activities in the ticketing system and update the CMDB.
- Escalate complex issues with other IT teams and participate in on-call rotations.
