Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking an Exchange Administration professional to manage Exchange Online and on-premises environments, ensuring secure mail flow and hybrid configurations.

The role involves implementing EOP and Defender for Office 365 policies, plus advanced troubleshooting of mail transport and compliance. Strong PowerShell, AD, and identity skills are required to support secure, compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive Exchange Online and on-premises administration expertise.
• Experience troubleshooting mail flow, hybrid environments, and transport services.
• Strong knowledge of governance and SaaS integrations (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Experience with Microsoft Purview compliance, retention, and information governance.
• Familiarity with EOP, Defender for Office 365, and email security best practices.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity solutions.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of AD, DNS, GPO, and certificate management.
• Experience with security, audit, and risk controls in regulated environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange environments including mail flow and hybrid configurations.
• Implement and maintain EOP and Defender policies; address anti-spam, anti-phishing, Safe Links, and Safe Attachments.
• Troubleshoot mail delivery, transport rules, and compliance issues.
• Manage mail routing, connectors, domains, DKIM/DMARC/SPF, and hybrid mail flow.
• Administer shared, resource, and distribution mailboxes and Microsoft 365 Groups.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of mail flow, hybrid connectivity, directory sync, and client connectivity.
