Job summary
The Clearing House is seeking a highly skilled M365 Communications Engineer to join our Corporate Platform Engineering team in Charlotte, NC. You will manage Exchange Online and on-prem environments, drive Teams governance, and implement security and compliance controls across Microsoft 365.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Exchange, Entra ID, and cloud governance, with a track record of integrating SaaS tools like Jira and ServiceNow into Teams environments.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams governance, lifecycle, and policy management.
- Experience with Defender for Office 365 and Exchange Online Protection security features.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Manage Exchange Online and on-prem environments, mail flow, hybrid configurations, and security hardening.
- Configure and maintain Teams governance, policies, lifecycle management, and SaaS integrations (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Support Purview retention, compliance, and information governance across Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Perform advanced mail flow troubleshooting, directory synchronization, and hybrid connectivity issue resolution.
- Automate routine tasks via PowerShell and document configurations per Change Management.
