Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks seasoned professionals for a Corporate Transactions Group Associate role in the US. You will be a key member of delivery teams handling operational due diligence, integration planning, divestitures, and synergy execution while supporting business development.

Requirements include 2+ years in consulting or operations, a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), and willingness to travel up to 75%; CFA/CPA preferred. The base salary and benefits reflect US market practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional consulting or operational experience (Big 4 or top-tier strategy firm preferred).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; MBA preferred.
• Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills; CFA or CPA preferred.
• Experience on complex M&A execution projects (integrations and separations) and deal work a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%; able to work within the US.

Responsibilities

• Serve on workstreams for enterprise-wide M&A projects and deliver high-quality client analysis.
• Support due diligence and pre-signing activities to assess value and risk.
• Help design and execute integration or separation plans and synergy tracking.
• Identify opportunities and advise on risk mitigation and upside optimization.
• Support recruitment, training, and development across the team.
