Job summary

Riveron is seeking an Associate Director to drive end-to-end M&A integration and separation engagements in a Chicago-based role. You will lead cross-functional workstreams, build financial and operating models, and translate insights into actionable client deliverables.

You’ll guide senior stakeholders, manage timelines and budgets, and mentor junior team members while tackling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Strong relationship-building and analytic coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in M&A, consulting, or transformation.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Use general business and financial acumen to advise clients and develop solutions to a variety of problems related to people, process, and technology optimization.
• Projects may include business process design and implementation, technology automation and enablement, finance transformation, supply chain improvement, working capital improvement, revenue and profitability analysis, and more.
• Partner directly with clients to support their needs and deliver high-quality projects (average project duration: 3-5 months)
• Lead research and analysis on a variety of financial, supply chain, operations, and accounting issues related to business process optimization
• Oversee the development of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables
• Own planning of and successful delivery against project budget and workstreams
• Participate actively in the development of junior team members – both in client and internal settings – by providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering a team-based working culture
