Job summary

Riveron is seeking a Director in our M&A advisory practice to lead complex merger, acquisition, divestiture, and transformation engagements that help clients maximize deal value and achieve successful business outcomes.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, overseeing cross‑functional integration and separation initiatives spanning finance, operations, technology, human resources, supply chain, commercial, and other defined functional areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 10+ years of experience in advisory or transformation roles across M&A lifecycle.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in business performance analysis and value creation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A integration, separation, carve-out, and stand-up engagements for PE, PE-backed, and corporate clients.
• Advise executive leadership on operating models, organizational design, and go-forward process optimization.
• Direct multiple workstreams across finance, HR, IT, operations, supply chain, and legal to meet milestones.
• Develop integration/separation strategies, including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, TSA planning, and synergy tracking.
• Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities and propose actionable recommendations to accelerate value.
• Facilitate governance meetings and cross-functional workshops to drive alignment and timely decisions.
• Oversee client deliverables including financial analyses, operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, budgets, staffing, and risk across concurrent engagements.
• Mentor and develop consultants and managers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Support firm growth through recruiting, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing.
