Job summary

Riveron is seeking a Director in our M&A advisory practice to lead complex merger, acquisition, divestiture, and transformation engagements that maximize deal value. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, overseeing cross-functional integration and separation initiatives across finance, operations, technology, HR, supply chain, and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, economics, supply chain, engineering, business administration, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, FP&A, finance transformation, value creation, or operational excellence.
• Experience leading M&A integration, separation, carve-out, divestiture, or post-merger transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle activities, diligence support, integration planning, Day 1 execution, TSA, synergy realization, and post-close optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across finance, HR, IT, operations, procurement, supply chain, commercial, legal, and product.
• Knowledge of change management, governance, communication planning, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing performance, financial models, and operational metrics.
• Experience improving procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and working capital optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A integration, separation, carve-out, and stand-up engagements for PE, PE-backed, and corporate clients.
• Advise executive leadership on operating models, organizational design, and go-forward process and technology optimization.
• Direct multiple workstreams across finance, HR, IT, operations, supply chain, legal, sales, and other functions to align with objectives.
• Develop and oversee integration/separation strategies including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, TSA, and synergy tracking.
• Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data to identify risks and opportunities that improve performance.
• Identify process and tech opportunities across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, supply chain, and shared services.
• Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, and cross-functional workshops.
• Oversee development of client deliverables including presentations, financial analyses, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, and risk for multiple engagements.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop consultants while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Support practice growth through recruiting, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing.
