Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Senior Associate in Corporate Development to support execution of strategic transactions in real estate. The role involves modeling, due diligence, and coordination with executives across mergers, divestitures, and partnerships.

Location includes in-person and occasional NJ/Others, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration. You will work with the Corporate Development team to shape growth strategies, analyze opportunities, and prepare

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in finance, economics, business, science or technical field.
• 1-3 years in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting focusing on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, or strategic investments.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior management.
• Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint development in Microsoft Office.
• Interest and curiosity in the commercial real estate sector.
• Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior executives with complex strategic projects including M&A, joint ventures, corporate partnerships, and divestitures.
• Build sophisticated financial models using DCF, comps, and build-versus-buy analyses.
• Draft executive memoranda, presentations, and strategic materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform comprehensive due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess opportunities and risks.
• Support transaction negotiations and structuring with internal and external counsel and consultants.
• Conduct industry and competitive research including SEC filings and market reports to identify targets.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables across stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
