Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Manager to lead financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements. You will plan, oversee, and deliver high-quality TAS projects for middle-market clients, coordinating with senior teams to ensure timely results.

The role requires deep knowledge of US GAAP, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with C-level executives. A CPA or CPA candidate is preferred, with significant experience in M&A advisory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required.
• Five (5) or more years of public accounting experience or three (3) or more years of TAS Merger & Acquisition specific experience at a mid/large firm, required.
• Experience interacting with C-level personnel, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees the due diligence process, ensuring quality services and timely delivery.
• Analyzes financial and operating results within the context of a transaction.
• Performs industry and technical accounting research to inform decisions.
• Interviews C-level personnel at target companies (on-site or via call).
• Identifies resolutions to critical M&A issues and writes due diligence reports.
• Manages information flow between BDO, client, and target company.
