Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Manager to lead financial, accounting, and operational due diligence engagements for middle-market deals across the U.S. You will coordinate teams, manage client relationships, and drive quality across the engagement lifecycle.

The role requires significant experience in TAS or M&A, strong accounting knowledge, and ability to interact with C-level executives. Travel as needed and a focus on business development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required.
• Five or more years of public accounting experience or three or more years of TAS M&A experience at a mid/large firm.
• Experience interacting with C-level personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees the due diligence process and applies BDO standards.
• Analyzes financial and operating results within a transaction context.
• Performs research to assist client decisions impacting the deal.
• Interviews target company C-level personnel on-site or by phone.
• Identifies resolutions to issues related to the M&A process.
• Prepares financial due diligence report highlighting quality, working capital, and debt-like issues.
• Manages information flow between BDO, client, and target company.
• Develops business opportunities through industry networks.
• Researches proposals and participates in client presentations.
