Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate for Transaction Advisory Services in New York to perform financial due diligence for M&A deals. You will review financials, data rooms, and transaction issues to support buy- and sell-side processes for private equity and corporate clients.

Requirements include 3+ years in financial due diligence (Big 4 preferred), knowledge of US GAAP, and familiarity with Tableau/Alteryx; CPA pursuit is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial due diligence experience (or a combination with audit experience, including at least 2 years of financial due diligence)
• Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx and data analytics packages preferred
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP including SEC reporting, purchase accounting and transaction related issues
• CPA (or at minimum, pursuing CPA)

Responsibilities

• Perform M&A financial due diligence related to the purchase and sale of private and public companies.
• Review financial statements and data rooms to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support buy- and sell-side processes for private equity and corporate clients.
