Job summary

EVI Industries, Inc. is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Associate for full-time, on-site work in Miami, FL.

You will lead the due diligence process for acquisition targets, analyzing financial performance, quality of earnings, and accounting practices, and share findings with the M&A team and senior leadership. You will gather target documentation, consolidate statements, and provide clear insights to shape deal decisions, working closely with sellers and internal teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in M&A, accounting, FP&A, audit or due diligence.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, bank reconciliations, sales tax, payroll and small business tax returns.
Attention to detail and ability to interpret data and explain findings clearly.
Self-directed with ability to manage multiple targets and meet deadlines.
On-site work in Miami, FL and travel for M&A transactions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage due diligence request lists, track items and follow up with sellers and accountants.
Compile target financial statements and analyze quality of earnings across years and entities.
Review operational diligence: payroll, assets, POS systems, vendor relationships, accounting processes.
Own diligence items and document findings with recommended next steps.
Report diligence status and findings to M&A team and senior leadership.
Assist with other transaction-related work as needed.
