Job description

Company Description

EVI Industries, Inc. (NYSE American: EVI) is the only U.S. public company focused exclusively on the laundry industry, operating in two segments. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, EVI distributes, installs, and services commercial laundry equipment, parts, and accessories across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Since Henry M. Nahmad acquired a controlling interest in the Company in 2015, EVI has executed a long-term buy-and-build strategy in this segment, acquiring 32 businesses and growing revenues more than 10x. In 2026, EVI launched its Consumer Garment Care Services segment with its 33rd acquisition, Sudsies, a premium local dry cleaner in Miami. The segment is built on the same laundry expertise, strategy, and principles that have driven the commercial business. Today, EVI's operating businesses are led by ambitious people, including many of the founders of the businesses we’ve acquired, united by an entrepreneurial culture and shared core values.

Role Description

The M&A Integration Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for supporting the execution of acquisitions from due diligence through post-closing integration. This role coordinates cross-functional project plans, tracks milestones, and helps ensure the smooth alignment of processes, systems, and teams between EVI, acquired businesses, and third-party providers. Day-to-day tasks include transitioning people, assets, accounts, and operations from acquired businesses onto EVI’s platforms and ensuring integration activities are completed accurately and on schedule. Working alongside finance, operations, IT, HR, local management, and outside service providers, the coordinator manages timelines, maintains documentation, resolves issues as they arise, and communicates progress and risks to leadership to support effective decision-making and identify opportunities for operational improvement and synergy realization. The coordinator works directly with EVI’s M&A team and senior leadership, gaining hands-on exposure to every stage of the acquisition process. With an active acquisition pipeline across both segments, this role plays a central part in EVI’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain due diligence and integration checklists, develop and manage timelines leading up to and following closing, track outstanding items and key deadlines, and provide regular status updates to the M&A team
  • Coordinate the setup and transition of service providers, vendors, systems, licenses and permits, and other administrative and operational requirements for newly acquired businesses
  • Research and identify potential risks and regulatory and compliance requirements associated with entering new markets
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across finance, HR, IT, operations, and local management, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined, issues are addressed promptly, and integration activities remain on schedule
  • Identify opportunities to create synergies across acquired businesses, including enhancing workstreams, standardizing processes, and leveraging shared resources across operations
  • Support other M&A and integration-related projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues and risks, assess process alignment, and support operational and system integration efforts
  • Resourceful and self-directed, with the ability to research unfamiliar processes, determine appropriate next steps, and work through issues with limited direction
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through, with the ability to drive open items to completion and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable to deadlines
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, business owners, and outside service providers
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations management, or a related field; equivalent experience in integration, process improvement, consulting, or complex project work will also be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL on a consistent schedule
  • Ability to travel in connection with M&A transactions
