Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in New York. You will own financial modeling, valuations, and data analysis to support buy‑side and sell‑side engagements, with heavy emphasis on accuracy and presentation quality.

You will coordinate execution across mandates, mentor junior staff, and interact with clients and senior team members, contributing to deal success and firm growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting (3.5+ GPA preferred).
• FINRA licenses including SIE, Series 79, Series 63 preferred; onboarding may require licensing.
• Minimum 3 years of investment banking experience at Analyst level.
• Expert-level 3-statement financial modeling—fast, accurate, independent; used for senior team.
• Strong knowledge of valuation methods (comps, precedent, DCF, LBO).
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg.

Aufgaben

• Own financial modeling and quantitative analysis on engagements with full accountability for accuracy and presentation quality.
• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses (LBO, DCF, comps, precedent).
• Lead structured data collection, control information flow across workstreams, and ensure data integrity end-to-end.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across active mandates, managing timelines and deliverables with minimal senior oversight.
• Oversee preparation and quality of materials (IMs, management presentations, data rooms, pitch books).
• Mentor Analysts and interact with clients and senior team members; contribute to client meetings.
