Prosperity Training Center in the Fresno area seeks an LVN Instructor (DSD) to support 60 hours of classroom theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training under RN/PD supervision. This role involves lesson planning, safe learning environments, and hands-on teaching across clinical settings.

Requirements include an active California RN/LVN license, two years of nursing experience (RN/LVN), and one year planning and evaluating nursing education programs or equivalent continuing education.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in California.
• Two years of nursing experience (RN or LVN).
• One year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
• Apply effective teaching strategies to deliver theory and clinical content.
• Maintain a safe learning environment in classroom and lab.
• Maintain classroom discipline and site standards.
• Participate in staff in-services and advisory meetings.
• Provide student assessments and ensure clinical placement prerequisites.
• Maintain accurate records and compliant documentation (4-year retention).
• Coordinate daily attendance, absences, and makeup sessions.
• Support supervised clinical training with 15:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
