Job summary

Prosperity Training Center in Fresno area seeks an LVN Instructor (DSD) to deliver 60 hours theory plus 100 hours supervised clinical training, per CA regulations. The role reports to administrator and NATP RN/PD in a classroom and clinical lab setting.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching strategies, maintaining a safe learning environment, and ensuring students meet clinical placement requirements with proper documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in California with verifiable work history.
• Minimum two years nursing experience (RN or LVN) including direct patient care.
• Experience planning, implementing and evaluating nursing education programs or 24 hours CE with Board approval.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outlines.
• Apply effective teaching strategies in theory and clinical labs.
• Create a safe, conducive learning environment in classroom and lab.
• Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to training site standards.
• Provide student assessments and ensure clinical placement requirements are met.
• Maintain records and CDPH-approved documentation; manage attendance and make up sessions.
