Job summary

Prosperity Training Center in Fresno and surrounding areas seeks an LVN Instructor (DSD). The role delivers 60 hours theory and 100 hours supervised clinical training per CDPH NATP curriculum to train non-certified individuals in basic nursing tasks, including patient safety, rights, and elder care.

Qualifications

• Active California RN or LVN license.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience (RN or LVN).
• At least one year experience planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs.
• Ability to teach and assess students in classroom and clinical settings.
• Willingness to work in Fresno and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
• Deliver theory and clinical training per CDPH NATP curriculum.
• Maintain safe learning environment and manage classroom discipline.
• Record attendance and maintain student files for 4 years.
• Coordinate with NATP Administrator and facility staff.
• Supervise clinical training with student-to-instructor ratio ≤ 15:1.
