Job summary

Prosperity Training Center LLC in Porterville, CA is seeking an LVN Instructor (DSD) to lead Nurse Assistant Training with 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical practice under CDPH approval.

The instructor will deliver NATAP curriculum, ensure student readiness for clinical placement, and maintain records. Candidates need an active CA RN/LVN license, 2 years of nursing experience, and 1 year in educational program planning.

Qualifications

• Active California RN or LVN license.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience (RN, LVN).
• One (1) year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs in nursing.
• Twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing completed within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans to align with course outline.
• Apply effective teaching strategies in classroom and clinical settings.
• Create a safe learning environment and maintain discipline.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and student files.
