Job summary

Prosperity Training Center seeks an LVN Instructor (DSD) to deliver Nurse Assistant Training per CA CDPH standards in Fresno and surrounding areas. You will develop 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training, with classes running 6:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

to fit training schedules. The role requires active CA RN/LVN license, 2 years nursing experience (1 year in long-term care), and 1 year in education program planning.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license in California.
• Two years nursing experience (RN, LVN).
• One year planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outlines.
• Apply teaching strategies in classroom and clinical settings.
• Create a safe learning environment in classroom and clinical lab.
• Maintain classroom discipline and adhere to training site standards.
• Participate in staff in-services and advisory meetings.
• Provide student assessments and ensure prerequisites are met for clinicals.
• Document incidents and maintain student records for 4 years.
