Job summary

Prosperity Training Center is seeking an LVN Instructor (DSD) to deliver 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of supervised clinical training under California CDPH standards. The role requires active CA RN/LVN licensure and nursing education experience.

The instructor will train non-certified individuals, oversee clinical labs, and maintain student records in collaboration with program administrators. The position may include both part-time and full-time opportunities, with activities scheduled

Qualifications

Must have active RN or LVN license in California.
Two years nursing experience (RN or LVN).
One year experience planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs in nursing.
If no teaching experience, continuing education course requirements must be met as specified.

Responsibilities

Prepare lesson plans aligned with course outline.
Develop and implement teaching strategies for theory and clinical training.
Maintain safety and orderly learning environments in classroom and lab.
Record attendance and manage documentation per CDPH/CDPH forms.
Coordinate with NATP Administrator and facility leadership.
Ensure students meet prerequisites before clinical placement.
Provide supervised clinical training with student-to-instructor ratio not exceeding 15:1.
