Job summary

Barton & Gray Mariners Club in Boston seeks a dynamic Maritime and Events Hospitality Coordinator to join the Business Development Team. Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, you will assist with event planning, logistics, and partnership initiatives across the full event lifecycle from concept to post-event analysis, while supporting infrastructure and housing operations.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, events or marketing; interest in event planning.
• Understanding of luxury brands and market trends.
• Passion for yachting, luxury experiences and hospitality.
• Experience or interest in event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event planning including scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, swag ordering, collateral shipping, transportation, accommodations, invitations, RSVP tracking and registration.
• Coordinate staffing, contracts, swag, shipping, transportation, and post-event recaps.
• Support creation of communications to promote events and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
• Represent the company professionally at events, providing hospitality and clear communication.
