Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma, CA seeks a Wine Educator/Event Captain to deliver personalized, luxury tasting experiences and lead events with the hospitality team. From on-floor guest service to coordinating with external event contractors, you’ll maintain brand standards and memorable guest moments.

The role blends day-to-day tasting room leadership with event-day coordination, requiring 2+ years in luxury service, strong guest focus, and a passion for wine and food.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in luxury customer service, sales, or hospitality.
• Natural ability to connect with people and build rapport.
• Passion for wine, food, and agriculture; desire to expand knowledge.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; comfortable coordinating with vendors.
• Experience coordinating with outside vendors and contractors during events.
• Proficiency with relevant tech tools (Tock, WineDirect) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and lead on the tasting room floor during high-volume moments.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in California Food Handler, RBS, and Alcohol Server Training within 30 days.
